North India is a biggest Hindu pilgrimage center having Badrinath, Kedarnath, Yamnotri, Gangotri, Haridwar, Mathura, Allahabad and Varanasi, the Buddhist Mahabodhi Temple in Gaya, and the Sikh Golden Temple in Amritsar.
